Today I am proud to announce the availability of Mihalism Multi Host 5.0.2. This version introduces numerous bug fixes to make Mihalism Multi Host even more stable. It also introduces few new features and some features that have been re-added.

Upgrading to 5.0.2:

If you are running Mihalism Multi Host 5.0.1 no database upgrades are necessary, only file overwrites.

If you are running Mihalism Multi Host 5.0.0 or lower you will need to upgrade database. Please view the announcement for 5.0.1 for instructions on upgrading.

  • More bug fixes to help improve stability and reliability.
  • Fixed Webpage URL Upload not posting to "Upload To" album.
  • Cleaned up code base to make it easier to edit & understand for mod developers.
  • Added wildcard IP address bans. Example: 123.456.*.* or 123.456.321.*.
  • Fixed random string generator not outputting correct value.
  • Improved stability of new URL upload options.
  • Fixed Imagick issue with thumbnails.
  • Fixed iFrame uploader not working.
  • Fix Internet Explorer 6 warning slideout returning false positives created by Internet Explorer 8.
  • Added "Advanced Debugging Tools" to Site Settings page. Basically linking hidden debugging pages.
  • Added page to Admin Control Panel to show recent PHP error logs to help debugging.
  • Added page to Admin Control Panel to show System Information such as hard drive space remaining, RAM use, and more.
  • Converted MySQL Driver to use MYSQL_*_TABLE constants for easier table renaming when using multiple sites.
  • The design of Advanced Thumbnails has changed for people with the most recent version of Imagick Image Library.
  • And a few more minor updates, tweaks, and changes.

If you are having an issue with thumbnails in Mihalism Multi Host v5.0.2 with Imagick Image Library ENABLED, then try uploading the attached file to source/includes/ folder.

The patch addresses a few shortcomings that Mihalism Multi Host has when it comes to creating thumbnail filenames with the Imagick Image Library. If thumbnails are showing fine on your website, then this patch is not necessary.
