The Imagick Image Library is not ImageMagick and they cannot be used interchangeably. Imagick Image Library is a PHP PECL Library that is dependent upon the installation and use of ImageMagick. ImageMagick is an extensive image manipulation software that supports hundreds of file types. Imagick Image Library is the interface for ImageMagick for PHP. You cannot have one or the other. You need both, and if your host says you have ImageMagick when you ask for the Imagick Image Library, direct them to this thread to show their ignorance.
