With alot of help from Josh i now have 5.0.3 running fine, not found any errors or problems other than my lack of knowledge.

First step as always is to backup everything, this took the longest(13 hours for me).
I tried using the upgrader out of the svn release, but this did not work for me.
What i did was leave the images folder in place and then delete everything else.
Delete the whole database structure.
Upload the svn release and do a clean install (Overwrite the site_logo file with your own from backup).
Import the database you backed up.
Not a perfect solution, but it worked. No guarantee it will work for everyone, but i dont see why it should'nt.
